    I got back in the gym with Tom Thayer on Thursday after several months of working out on my own, and it felt good to get back to the heavy lifting that Tom has me doing. He is the best trainer ever, because he knows exactly what he’s doing after so many years in an NFL weight room. He makes it effortless and fun. He also makes me look stronger just by virtue of the fact that he’s hanging out with me. Tom isn’t really my trainer, in the sense that I pay him to train me.
