Was It A Home Game Or An Away Game?

I decided to come back home to Chicago and surprise my family on Super Bowl Sunday by being at the party. Of course, Janet was surprised on Saturday night since I didn’t want to spend the night at the airport. The thought of sitting in my condo down in FL watching SB44 all by myself was not something that seemed like a lot of fun. Plus, I would have had to really go out of my way to avoid the Souper Bowl party that was being thrown by my elderly neighbors down there. I imagine it was a fun party by their standards, even though only one person signed up to bring soup. Sometimes a living out a pun or play on words can be brutal, and I didn’t want to live that one.

We had a nice time at the so-called (by Janet) Super Dahl party. Things went pretty smoothly until the third quarter when Patrick Dahl started hating everything and Matt Dahl started letting Walter get on the couch. That was when Janet said, “Don’t make us wish that you weren’t here.” It seemed like she should have been saying that to one of the kids, but she was saying it to me. I snapped back “Don’t make me wish that you weren’t here.” Janet said that it made no sense, but it made sense to me. Mike Dahl conducted a football squares game and even though I wanted a single payout at the end of the game, I won the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

I think that if we hadn’t had any beer, there wouldn’t have been any problems. I did notice that my kids prefer Bud Light, so that makes them blue collar just like Wendy Snyder and Jimmy Mac of SnydeRemarksRadio. The food was good, and Janet worked hard to make everything nice. As Pat was leaving he told me that I should help Janet clean up the kitchen. What would I do without my boys to help me remember the way to behave? As I helped Janet clean up the kitchen, I was wondering if Pat had chapped hands or wasn’t allowed to touch dishwater or something like that. All in all it was a fun day, and I’m glad I came home.

Super Bowl Sunday was a blast! It was a fun filled season for our family too. Unfortunately, we didn't have the chance to watch it live for I have to attend first to my tax refund loans but we still have tons of fun just watching it on the big flat screen. We had lots of food snacks and sodas. My kids enjoyed it a lot as well. So, I'm planning on bringing my family to the game live on the next Super Bowl Sunday.
